If you are unlucky enough to find a tick feeding on your cat or dog or even yourself, don’t panic as they are easy to remove.
The traditional method was to use a pair of fine tipped tweezers and grasping the tick by the head, as near to the skin as possible, and pulling it straight out. The only problem with this method, is that it can be hard to gage the amount of pressure needed to grasp the tick without squeezing or crushing it and leaving parts of it behind. (more…)
